People often ask me about the vision behind I Am Thirty-One and the answer I give them is simple. It's to inspire women to ignite their passion and impact the world.

So how does this connect to Proverbs 31 you ask? More often than not, when people talk about the Proverbs 31 woman, they focus on what she did. It wasn't what she did that made her virtuous, it was who she was. She was a woman who feared the Lord and was obedient in doing what she had been called to do.

We sometimes get caught up in our titles, roles, and who others say that we are, until we lose sight of the person God said we are to be. So we end up searching tirelessly for our purpose, not realizing that our purpose is wrapped up in who we are, authentically and unapologetically.

My road to being able to say, "I Am Thirty-One", and understanding who I am, has not always been easy. There were times of doubt, insecurity, and depression. But God! When I stopped hiding behind the mask, and begin doing the inner work, I got set free to live out my purpose. Empowering other women for the glory of God is my purpose!
